4-H RECORD BOOK TRAINING – APRIL 24th

Great training to attend and just in time for award season. Come join us on April 24th as we will have a 4-H Recordbook Training session from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm here at the Mansfield Park Showbarn Conference Room.

The training will be held via Lync with District 10 4-H Specialist Sarah Womble. Learn about the new recordbook changes this year.

If you are considering applying for the Silver and Gold Star Award, you must complete a recordbook. Recordbooks are also a great way to help you organize your information when completing scholarship applications.

Cost is $5.00 which includes materials and recordbook cover.

Reserve your spot by April 13th to the Extension Office.

LEADERSHIP LAB – JUNE 26-29

Districts 7 and 10 4-H Council Teams have joined forces to bring the West Region 4-H Leadership Lab! The event will be held June 26-29,
2012 at the T Bar M Resort and Conference Center in New Braunfels.
Come and join other 4-H’ers from across the West Region and enjoy four days of fun as we work together to build leadership skills to equip you for success! Participants will attend workshops that are fun and interactive. Topics that will be presented include:

Real World – learn about Money
Management and Career Exploration
Interviewing and Public Speaking
4-H Golf Challenge
4-H Outdoor Challenge
Closing Trip to Schlitterbahn – 4-H & FFA Day

REGISTRATION-
Registration will be conducted via 4-H Connect online registration program May 15-31, 2012. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS.
