Suitable Uses of Grant Funds:
The following costs can be funded:
• Workshops
• Program Development
• Travel and Hotel for 4-H functions and Approved events
• Speaker fees
• Club Meeting Expenses
The following costs cannot be funded:
• Individual Livestock Show Expenses
• State Sales Tax
• Membership fees Individually
• Sponsorships
• Gifts
• Not for Personal Gain
• Individual Projects
• Disposable products (Examples: food, ammo, or targets/clays etc.)
The Bandera 4-H Foundation reserves the right to determine suitable uses of grant funds.

Texas 4-H Foundation Scholarships
The Texas 4-H Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for 4-H members. Be sure review the requirement and application deadlines closely to ensure you are eligible and meet all necessary criteria.
- The application will open November 1st and close February 15th!

- Interviews will take place in College Station April 25 -27, 2025.

How To Prepare for the 2025–26 FAFSA® Form
Prepare now so you can complete the 2025–26 FAFSA form as soon as it’s available on or before Dec. 1, 2024. Here are some ways you can get ready:

Create a StudentAid.gov account (if you don’t already have one).

Learn about the documents you may need to fill out the FAFSA form.

Determine your dependency status and whether your parent(s) or spouse will be required to contribute information on your FAFSA form.

If you’re a dependent student, use the Who’s My FAFSA Parent? wizard to identify which parent(s) will be a required contributor on your form.
